What was the first book to make an impression on you? Stephen King’s The Dead Zone. I read it when I was 11 … which might explain a lot. What was your favourite book as a child? I read loads of Enid Blyton books as a kid, but there isn’t one that stands out. Reading The Dead Zone was a real eye-opening experience. The good guy died in the end; what was that all about?
